Naval Ship System
Vital Systems differ from most other contract assembly businesses in the PCB assembly spaces. We specialize in manufacturing electronics, and most of all, we design and engineer new products, sometimes literally from napkin drawings to marketable products.
We helped engineer this complex Ship Self-Defense Systems for the navy, building and delivering these for 20 years. Then on following order we delivered systems to Lockheed Martin. This system was designed to withstand 85g shock and rated for EMI, RFI etc.
Designed for 120g Shock
Navy contracted Vital Systems to design a shipboard system to withstand 120g shock with EMI, RFI screening capacity. This system was designed and delivered on schedule with for navy’s Operational Evaluation meeting the shock tests. Vital Systems offered modularity to the design to configure the units to different platforms if needed. Navy added the modularity changes.
Rail Safety
Vital Systems designed a set of personnel safety devices for a global company in the railroad environment. Designed to meet specifications, Vital Systems made the design more functional and more capable than originally specified. The customer loved the changes. As a result, the units were able to operate in different countries and perform different functions without hardware changes. That is creative design implementation.
